I recently stayed at the Best Western Plus Beach Resort in Fort Myers Beach. The fine oceanfront views and the cleanliness of the rooms. I did experience slow elevators, but the friendliness of the staff made up for it.

Consider renting chairs in advance for the beach. it can be a hassle during peak times. Also, don't miss Coco the Parrot in the lobby!
